The impedance silencer combines the advantages of both resistive and reactive silencers, achieving improved silencing performance for low, medium and high frequency noise.
Structural Drawing and Dimensions
The inner wall of the silencer is filled with centrifugal glass wool, covered with glass cloth and perforated plate with 3 mm aperture.
The framework adopts galvanized steel sheet, and micro-perforated plate with 0.8 mm aperture is also available as an alternative.
Main Technical Parameters
Silencing capacity: Under rated air volume, the low-frequency noise reduction is 10–15 dB(A), the medium-frequency noise reduction is 15–25 dB(A), and the high-frequency noise reduction is 10–15 dB(A).
Applicable air volume: 2000 m³/h – 60000 m³/h (recommended air velocity: 6–8 m/s)
Pressure loss: At rated air volume, the average drag coefficient is 0.4
